Mechanism of Action

Tissue-Specific Bioregulation

The Khavinson model proposes that short peptides derived from target organ extracts have tissue-specific gene regulatory activity. Prostamax, derived from prostate tissue extract, is proposed to normalize prostate epithelial cell protein synthesis and reduce inflammatory dysregulation.

Anti-Inflammatory

Preliminary data suggests reduction of inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, TNF-α) in prostate tissue following treatment.
